I was happy to find a bed with a trundle and drawers and wasn’t expecting perfection but I didn’t expect as much damage as I found. This bed is acceptable for something that is going to be jumped on and scratched up by kids but if it were for an adult I would be very displeased. It’s packaged well but a lot of the pieces were packaged damaged. The drawers don’t close flush and the wheels for the trundle are better replace by some furniture carpet slider. The instructions were wrong in at least two places or they have changed the design and not updated the paperwork not a huge deal but it shows the lack of quality. All in all it’s a good kids bed don’t expect perfection.For under $400, this bed was fine for the price although I’m overall, slightly dissatisfied with my purchase.There are several negative things to take note of when comparing this bed to other twin beds. First, the drawers are shallow, plan on storing items that do not have a lot of bulk to them. Second, the casters on the trundle bed are undersized and the bed will not easily pull out without dragging on your carpet. If you had hardwood floors, I am certain they would scrape the floor as well. Lastly, why wouldn’t you include little white circular stickers to cover the hardware on this bed???? It significantly cheapens the overall look. If given an easy option to return without having to disassemble and repackage, I would.Overall good product. Some holes where not predrilled had ro do on own or wood would split. Good for a kid bedArrived in good condition, no missing or broken parts. Instruction easy to follow (if you .. graduated from the Ikea University). Seriously, I had my teen daughter leading the assembly, and everything went smoothly.Could it be stronger and sturdier.. probably yes.. casters, for example, could probably uses stronger screws, but.. so far, absolutely everything works, perfectly well, the way it should be, it looks nice, clean, and assembly was easy, so.. for this price..??? It is REALLY a good deal.bought this to replace a metal loft bed since we have 2 grandkids now. It was fairly easy to assemble by myself (took about 2.5 hrs). All pieces were packaged well but not everything was labeled. 2 knobs broke already but it wasn't a manufacturer issue, grand kids used it to get up on the high bed. Bought a little wooden stool to match and fixed the knobs with gorilla glue. So far so good.This bed is absolutely amazing! though, the wheels were very small and i could not pull it out. Me and my dad did alot of construction work to fix that problem. I honestly love this bed. It has pretty big drawers and it was really easy to put together. If it weren't for the wheels being too small making difficult to pull out on carpet, it would've gotten the 5 stars.Took a long time for me & my son to assemble. He’s 12 & 130lbs so big boy, sturdiness in my opinion isn’t the strongest I can see he’ll outgrow it quickly, “this year” value for the money in my opinion is not good quality material. Wood scratches easy & knobs came off on drawers. I have a 4 year old who I feel this bed is better made for then a almost teenager. I wish I forked out more money for a better quality bed, witch I will end up doing and passing this bed down to my 4 year old. It’s a good bed for younger children but just know it scratches and gets dings easy.I am very happy with my purchase of this bed for so many reasons. It's sturdy! It was easy to assemble (and let me tell you, I am NOT one to put things together, its not my cup of tea. However, this was SUPER easy to understand and for once I actually helped my husband put something together from start to finish!!). The price was fantastic. Its for an adult so it took me a while to find a bed that would hold adult weight. So glad I finally found this one!!
